My good friends made this a stop on their Nicaraguan Honeymoon in December and raved about the isolated beaches, friendly natives and rustic accommodations. And I thought Vieques was a place to see before the rest of the world.

The Corn Islands off the coast of Nicaragua are a true testament to adventure and budget travel. My good friends made this a stop on their Nicaraguan Honeymoon in December and raved about the isolated beaches, friendly natives and rustic accommodations. And I thought Vieques was a place to see before the rest of the world.

A truly amazing place that may not stand the test of time so get there while you can. BUT, not for the fancy traveller. It takes some serious work and an iron stomach to get to Little Corn....
